Job Description:

Our client is currently looking to hire a Course Administrator.

JOB PURPOSE

The purpose of this role is to support the Operations Manager in the smooth running of the assigned courses, as well as liaising with Participants, Tutors and other Service Providers.

 

PRINCIPAL JOB ELEMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  1. Custodian of class registration forms
  2. Ensuring the participants are fully signed and qualified for the class
  3. Confirming to the participants that the class is scheduled
  4. Update the class records with the participants details
  5. Distribution of course materials
  6. Prepares the scheduled class package – tags, pens, manual.
  7. Ensure all participants are registered
  8. Monitors and ensures that the services are being provided as per required standards during training
  9. Prepare the exam registration details and hand over to exam administrator
  10. Prepares and ensures feedback forms are captured
  11. Update the students records
  1. Keeping appropriate training records. This would include:
    • ensuring students records are up to date and fit for purpose – including the collation of data from trainers and training partners
    • overseeing an information resource bank for trainers
  2. Contributing to the development and updating of marketing materials, newsletters and social media.
  3. Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

 

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Skills

  1. Excellent communication with a positive telephone manner and the ability to build rapport and maintain empathy with students, clients, tutors and faculty staff.
  2. Excellent organizational, time management and high attention to detail.
  3. Ability to communicate student performance by producing all necessary reports in an effective and timely manner to clients.
  4. Ability to use email, internet applications, MS windows operating system, including excel and word.
  5. Passionate about dealing with people (interpersonal skills).
  6. Proactive, highly motivated and adaptable to change, as the company and industry in which they are based is very fast paced and competitive

Qualifications & Experience

  1. At least a Bachelor degree in Education or Business Administration
  2. At least one year experience in operations in training institution preferably professional institutions.
