Position: NOC INTERN/ATTACHEE Department: NOC Reports to: NOC Manager  Direct reports: None   Purpose of the Job: Under supervision of NOC Team lead and NOC Engineers undertake roles allocated by supervisor to ensure acquisition of necessary skills required in network management. Duties and Responsibilities: Participating in a 24x7 call-out rota.Pro-active monitoring of fiber related faults on clients’ circuits in order to ensure timely fault management and achieving SLA time as agreed with the clientOpening a Trouble Ticket for any faults reported and follow up to escalation.Coordinating with field engineers to facilitate support for customer’s physical links.Off site customer support on all vertical markets with prominence on the SLA and regular update to the customer on the progress.Data center operations (access management process, monitoring and management of air-conditioning, UPS, generators, and power usage).Engage in online training programs.Performing hourly support, maintenance and coordination of FTTH clients.
