Our Client is a Real Estate Company currently recruiting a Group CEO. The CEO shall provide Leadership and Strategic direction, advice the board on matters relating to implementation of the corporate strategy The position will be responsible and accountable for the overall operation and management of the Real estate company and all its subsidiaries. . Key Responsibility Areas Business Growth responsibilities – 70% Administrative Duties – 30% The Group Chief Executive Officer will be looked upon to set the company’s overall strategic direction and priorities, and monitor the performance of the company as well as the performance of each project / Subsidiary Major Duties and Responsibilities Strategic and visionary Leadership 1)Provide advice, guidance, direction, and authorization to the COO to carry out major plans and procedures, consistent with established policies; 2)Conduct a strategic review of performance on a regular basis to determine whether the company is meeting its short-and long-term objectives (increase in profits, increase in market share, return on investment, etc.); 3)Develop, in coordination with the Executive Management Team, an integrated business plan that optimizes market share and profitability of existing or new activities; and 4)Periodically review and check the performance of the COO and Senior Management Team and recommend remedial action and improvements. Governance and relationship with the Board of Directors 1)Provide the required linkage between the Board of Directors and the Senior Management Team, 2)Provide them with adequate information to carry out their responsibilities; 3)Advises the Board-Assist the Board of Directors in setting strategic goals, objectives, budgets, policies, and procedures to enhance PRC’s market share, profitability and return on investment; 4)Formulates policies and planning recommendations to the Board; 5)To ensure that the Board has at its disposal sufficient resources, guidance and professional advice on 6)matters concerning compliance with its governing instruments, the law and the need to remain solvent; 7)To liaise with the Chairman, and Board as appropriate; 8)In consultation with the Chairman draw the Board’s attention to matters that need a decision; 9)To help coordinate the Board Committees and Board papers in liaison with the Company Secretary; 10)To enable proper constitution of the Board to provide good governance; 11)To help the Board acquire appropriate skills and ensure that peer review by the Board takes place; 12)Ensures staff and Board have sufficient and up-to-date information; 13)Looks to the future for change opportunities; 14)Interfaces between Board and employees; 15)Interfaces between organization and all stake holders; 16)Assists in the selection and evaluation of board members; and 17)Make recommendations; support Board during orientation and self-evaluation. Requirements Qualifications (Academic) Bachelor’s degree; andMaster’s degree in business related field. Experience More than 10 years’ experience of which 5 are at a senior management position;Experience and interest in internal and external communications.Must have a strong Sales background – Has a proven track record of driving sales preferably at management level.Extensive executive-level management experience in a Company with multiple units or subsidiaries (5+ years).Financial Forecasting – Can interpret financial statements and make critical business decisions. Skills Strong visionary with proven leadership qualities and an entrepreneurial mindset;Political awareness, professional expertise, self-starting initiative, cross cultural awareness, organization astuteness and team spirit;Ability to select, develop and motivate necessary management talent to maintain the company's overall objectives;Strong interpersonal skills such as leadership, communication, persuasion, motivation, loyalty, and openness;Must be a professional of unquestionable integrity, credibility, and character;Strategic focus; Attention to detail and accuracy.
